DR. BRIAN HANNA, Board Certified Family Physician

Dr. Brian Hanna has spent years in Florence helping patients. Now, through opening his own practice, Dr. Hanna is excited about being able to spend more time with patients as he sees them as a physician for primary care, medical weight loss, and/or hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Hanna believes in medical freedom for his patients and believes it is important for him to present the data and research appropriate to the patients condition and come along side the patient to assist them in making educated decisions regarding their healthcare and the healthcare of their children.

Dr. Hanna obtained his Medical Doctorate (MD) from the University of South Carolina in 2001. He then completed a three year residency at AnMed Hospital in Anderson, SC. Dr. Hanna is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Hanna, along with his wife Kim and family, began his Family Medicine service in 2004 in Georgetown, SC and Murrells Inlet, SC while serving patients in 2 local hospitals and a busy outpatient clinic.
In 2006, Dr. Hanna and family moved to Hartsville, SC where Dr. Hanna worked in Darlington at an outpatient Family Medicine Clinic for five years. In 2010, Dr. Hanna took a full time Medical Director position at Hope Health in Florence, SC until May of 2023. In June of 2023, Dr. Hanna began his service for the Pee Dee region of SC at Freedom Family Care in Florence, SC.

Kimberly Hanna, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Kimberly Hanna is mom to six teenagers and has been a nurse since 1996. She graduated from The Medical University of South Carolina in 1996 with her BSN. In 1999, she completed her MSN from the University of South Carolina, Columbia with a focus on Nursing Administration. In 2023, Kim completed her post-masters certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner and became board certified from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

While Kim was a Registered Nurse, she served communities across the state of South Carolina focusing on adult cardiology. Kim has extensive knowledge in cardiology at the hospital bedside, heart catheterization lab, and cardiac outpatient clinic. Kim specifically enjoys working with women to reduce their risk of heart disease, which is the number one cause of death of women, and men, in the United States today.
Kim is a breast cancer survivor and has a heart for women's health. Kim believes in advocating for women to take care of themselves in the midst of a busy life with family and career! Kim, being the mom of six children, also has a heart for children and caring for them to help decrease anxiety of obtaining medical care. Medical freedom is vital to a parents role in caring for themselves and their children. Kim has also obtained further training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and pairs this with Biblical counseling services here at Freedom!
